Dr. Gail Gabbert, licensed in IllinoisDr. Gabbert holds a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree in counseling and is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). Additionally, she completed a two year certificate program in Advanced Studies in Couples and Family Therapy. She is an Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapists. She has over 15 years of post-graduate clinical experience specializing in relationship issues and the array of mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. Interactions Therapy Center is located on the north side of Chicago in the Ravenswood community on the corner of Damen and Wilson Avenue. The fee is $100 per session for individual, couples or family therapy regardless of the number of persons attending. There is a missed session fee if you do not cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the session. Payment is due on the day of service. Sliding scale option: Dr. Gabbert supervises a graduate trained counselor who is available to provide therapy at a reduced rate while they work toward gaining their licensure. Most types of insurance will cover outpatient mental health counseling. Dr. Gail Gabbert currently serves on 50 different insurance (PPO, HMO or EAP) panels and is able to receive reimbursement from most types of insurance.
